About

Grenoble Life is a new English language website for the Grenoble area, with articles and practical information from the people who live there. Whether you are an expat living in Grenoble, a future or past resident, or just passing through, Grenoble Life invites you to come and share your experiences and advice. If you are looking for accommodation or work in or around Grenoble, want to meet other English-speaking people in the area, or want to buy or sell something locally, the Grenoble Life team also invite you to use our free classified ads section.

We are especially interested to hear from you if you would like to contribute an article to Grenoble Life. If you work or study in the Grenoble area and want to tell us about your events, activities or just express an opinion, please contact us with a brief outline of your proposal. Otherwise, if you want to share your Grenoble photos, there is a Flickr group which links to the Gallery on this site, and we have a Facebook group where you can join us too. Likewise, if you are an avid Twitterer, direct your Tweets here.

Grenoble Life is edited by James Dalrymple, an English teacher from London now living in Grenoble. He moved to the city with his wife, who comes from the area originally, in January 2007. With a background in publishing, he also writes about music, films and books as Demob Happy.
